Sweet Carolina Pies inspires the feeling of downhome baking. Our sweets innovate and we create the finest pies which are universally enjoyed by families and friends, making us part of life’s celebrations and memories.
The mission for Sweet Carolina Pies is about more than just great pies. By continuing to conduct ourselves with the utmost integrity and by anticipating the best interest of our valued customers, the company’s sweet success is certain.
Deborah Smalls, Founder & CEO, natural affinity for baking started at an early age in South Carolina as she would follow her Grandmother Sarah Smalls from the garden to the kitchen. She experienced the joy of home cooking and baking foods. Recognizing the blessing of a culinary gift, she now shares it through her own home baked goods made for the comfort of the body and soul just like it was with her Grandmother Sarah’s kitchen.

We would like to give special acknowledgement to the sister who believed in Deborah’s dreams: Barbra Jones; the first woman who bought her pie: Ms. Harriet; and Diana Blackwell, who encouraged us to go forward no matter what the circumstances. As they provide words of wisdom and sisterly love, I’ll continue providing the comfort!
